To kick off the second week of Mostar Summer Youth Programme, members of our team held a blogging workshop. Participants were given the assignment to produce content for our blog, an example of which is this comic, inspired by “Toilet Paper and Televisions: A Sarajevo Paradox,” an article by Emela Burdzevic for Balkan Insight.
The minister of education enjoys his 5,000 KM television.
A local kindergarten is underfunded and is unable to afford toilet paper.
The minister returns his television with tears in his eyes. He decides to invest the money in education (as one might expect a minister of education to do).
The children cheer in front of a pile of toilet paper (five thousand packs of it), as a teary-eyed minister accepts his decision.
